Eskumor Timeline September 2000 - Weng Carballo voluntarily takes over as Bloomfield Basketball Team's Head Coach September 2000 - Coach Carballo conducted try-outs for the final lineup, Ronie Villanueva was selected as the team captain Sept 22, 2000 - Bloomfield played its first game with Carballo as their coach, a 42-22 loss to St Marks Institute in a exhibition game at Bloomfield Academy Nov, 2000 - Bloomfield participated in the LAPPRISA Tournament, posting a 1-1 record in the knockout system format, beating Bernardo College and losing to UPHR July 7, 2001 - Tryouts for the 2001-2002 Team was conducted with several players chosen July 2001 - Patrick Eusebio was named as the Team Captain August-September 2001 - Bloomfield posted a 1-1 record in two tune-up games with the new lineup November 2001 - Bloomfield posted a decent 4-4 record in the LAPPRISA Tournament June 15, 2002 - Coach Carballo conducted a tryout for the 2002-2003 team June 2002 - Lloyd Corpuz was named as Team Captain August 10, 2002 - Bloomfield lost to the Batch 1997 63-61 in the team's first game of the year August 12, 2002 - The Bloomfield Basketball Team's website was launched on the world wide web September 11, 2002 - Sophomores Richard Briones and Deane Mapili were added to the team, becoming the first 2nd yr students to be named to the Basketball Team. At 13 yrs old, Mapili became the youngest player ever to be on the team September-October 2002 - Bloomfield posted a 2-1 record in three tune-up games November 6, 2002 - Bloomfield participated in the LAPPRISA Tournament for the third straight year but loss to Bernardo College 54-48 ending the team's campaign November 26, 2002 - Bloomfield defeated the 2001 team 61-54 December 2002-February 2003 - Bloomfield placed 4th in the 1st LPSAA Tournament after posting a 4-1 record in the elimination phase before losing to Elizabeth Seton in the semifinals March 20, 2003 - The Bloomfield Basketball Team received their 4th Place Trophy in a ceremony at the Southville International School March 20, 2003 - Angelo Castro received his Mythical Five Award after his strong showing in the LPSAA Tournament. April 1, 2003 - Pierre Paderna was named Team Captain for the 2003-2004 season. June 26-28, 2003 - Tryouts were held and the lineups for 2003-2004 team were finalized. August 8, 2003 - The Bloomfield Eskumors lost a 55-53 decision to the Bloomfield Alumni All-Stars in their first game of the school year. September 2003 - Bloomfield placed 4th in the LAPRISAA Tournament September-December 2003 - Bloomfield placed 3rd in the LPSAA Tournament. January-March 2004 - The Aspirants team of Bloomfield placed 2nd in the 15 and under division of the LPSAA Tournament. March 26, 2004 - The Eskumors and Aspirants received their 3rd and 2nd place trophies, respectively. March 26, 2004 - Jigo Dela Cruz was selected in the Mythical Five of the 2003 LPSAA while Deane Mapili was among five players selected in the 15 and under division. March 2004 - Richard Briones was named Team Captain for 2004-2005 season. August 2004 - Bloomfield scores three wins in three preseason games before the LPSAA tournament. September-November 2004 - The Bloomfield Eskumors placed second in the 2004 LPSAA Basketball Tournament as they lost to St Francis of Assisi 63-55 in the finals. January-February 2005 - The Aspirants team finished the LPSAA Juniors tournament with a 2-2 record, missing the postseason for the first time in four years. January 29, 2005 - The Bloomfield Womens Basketball Team played their first ever official game, losing to St Francis of Assisi 44-35 in the LPSAA Womens Basketball tournament. June-August 2005 - The 2005-06 Bloomfield Eskumors were formed, elects not to play the LPSAA basketball tournament. September 30, 2005 - The team played its first exhibition game, losing to Regis Marie at Bloomfield Covered Court. October 22, 2005 - Placed third in the Bloomfield Academy Sportsfest. November 19, 2005 - Defeated Southwoods at Bloomfield Covered Court. November 2005 - Team was disbanded by head coach Weng Carballo, eventually resigned from his position. 2006-07 - Basketball team reformed but no longer carries the Eskumor name as team monicker.
