2005-06 Bloomfield Eskumors

Off the court activities hampered the final version, to date, of the Bloomfield Eskumors in 2005-06. Problems with the participation of the league, lineup problems and Weng Carballo's eventual decision to disband the team affected the year.

Reeling from the loss of the core of the 2004-05 team, Coach Carballo began the school year by grabbing several players from the Aspirants team along with holdovers from the club from the previous year.

However, a decision was made that the school will opt to join the LAPPRISA tournament instead of the LPSAA tournament, missing the event for the first time in history.

To prepare for the big events, the team played two tuneup games, a loss to Regis Marie and a win against Southwoods, their only games played against schools, quite different from past teams that the Eskumors faced.

They also played in the 2005 Bloomfield Sports Intramurals, against a team of former Eskumors, Bus Drivers and Operators and members of the PATABA. Despite Jeronel Cillo leading the team, the club finished third behind PATABA and the Alumni Eskumors.

Then, a sudden twist happened when the team did not played in the LAPPRISA tournament as well as head coach Weng Carballo disbanding the team for the rest of the year. It was a sad year for the club that once competed for a shot at the championships in the LPSAA and LAPPRISA tournaments.
